Level 3 Assessor Vocational course:
Level 3: Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF) course is suitable for people who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding other than in the work environment (e.g. a workshop, classroom or other training environment). You will gain the knowledge and skills you need to plan assessments, select the best assessment methods for the situation, carry out the assessments and after making the assessment decision, give feedback to the learner, make a firm contribution to quality assurance and keep and complete accurate assessment records. This NVQ Assessor’s course is designed for individuals who need to assess competence within the workplace or classroom.
This TAQA / Assessor qualification will train assessors and those individuals that need to carry out assessment in the classroom or work environment. This course is suited to individuals that support learners through assessment & training. This level 3 certificate is suitable for industry sectors such as Hairdressing, Beauty Industry & Make Up, Construction, Early years, Health & Social Care and Educational Sectors. On successful achievement of the course, candidates are awarded a nationally accredited qualification enabling them to carry out assessments in the workplace & assessments for vocational programmes in training centres, organisation, colleges and schools.

Unit 3: Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding F/601/5319

Level 3 Assessor Competence Course:
Level 3: Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment Course who assess the demonstration of competence in a work environment using observation, examining work products and discussion. This is a 9 Credits qualification formerly know as Assessor CAVA Course. Level 3 Assessing Competence is for practitioners who assess the demonstration of competence in a work environment using observation/examining work products/oral questioning and discussion/use of witnesses/learner statements/Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This TAQA qualification will train assessors and those individuals that need to carry out assessment in the work environment. This course is suited to individuals through assessment in the work environment. This Competence level consists of the following 2 Unit:
Unit 1: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment D/601/5313
Unit 2: Assess occupational competence in the work environment H/601/5314

Entry Requirement:
There are no formal requirements for Assessor CAVA Course, however, candidates should be working in, or working towards a role in quality assurance.
How does Assessor CAVA Course works?
This course can be done either in the 2 days classroom or Online or Distance Learning method. Our Online or Distance Learning is a great option for anyone wishing to get qualified using our self study method with tutor support. All necessary materials will be sent to you by post and the log in details of the portal once you have booked the course. You will be given up to 12 weeks to complete the assignments. However you do not need to wait for up to 12 weeks, if you finish earlier, your certificate will be awarded early. During the coursework, you are required to be assessed and gather the relevant information and include them in the portfolio.
