Level 4: Certificate in Education and Training (CET) course is a first stage teaching qualification which has a teaching/training practice requirement. Formerly known this CTLLS qualification designed for those working or wishing to work as teachers/trainers. All candidates, whether pre-service (Currently not working) or in-service (Currently working) must have access to 30 hours of teaching. This qualification is suitable for those delivering teaching and training in any learning discipline eg University, College, Training provider, any organisation or Company either paid, Volunteer, full time, part time or any kind of teaching.

What is this course about?
Candidates who successfully complete this qualification will have a fundamental understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a teacher/trainer in relation to legislation, equality, diversity, inclusivity and meeting the needs of learners. They will be able to use initial and diagnostic assessments and plan and deliver inclusive teaching and learning. They will also be able to assess learning and use appropriate resources to support effective learning. This course provides an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills for a career in teaching.

You will study six units which build to a minimum total of 36 credits on the Regulated Qualifications  Framework (RQF).
Understanding roles, responsibilities & relationships in education & training: 3 credits
Planning to meet the needs of learners in education & training: 3 credits
Delivering education and training: 6 credits
Assessing learners in education & training: 6 credits
Using resources for education & training: 3 credits
Inclusive practice: 15 credits

Chapter 2: Understand the relationships between teachers and other professionals in education & training.
Chapter 3: Understand ways to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

Chapter 6: Planning and preparation to meet the needs of your learners.
Chapter 7: Using different resources for Lifelong learning Sector.

Chapter 9: Understanding and managing behaviors in a learning environment.

Entry requirement?
Candidates for this course must have completed Level 3 Award in Education & Training or Former PTLLS Course (C&G 6302 or 6502). Candidates for this course should have a good standard of verbal communications skills.

Career Progression:
On successful completion of the programme candidates can progress onto:
Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or a University Certification in Education.
Level 3 Assessment and Quality Assurance (TAQA)
Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)

How does Online course works?
Our Online or Distance Learning is a great option for anyone wishing to get qualified using our self study method with tutor support. All necessary materials will be sent to you the log in details of the portal once you book the course. You will be given up to 16 weeks to complete the assignments. However you do not need to wait for up to 16 weeks, if you finish earlier, your certificate will be awarded early.

How does Face to Face or Live Zoom Classroom Course:
Our Face to Face or Live Zoom classroom sessions run for a day,  from 10am to 5pm. We have over 35 venues in the UK; covering all the major cities. This course will be taught and trained by experienced teachers. After 1 day session class with the tutor you will have another 4 months to complete the coursework/assignment and send them for marking, it takes up to 2 weeks to get the result and certificate
