Security Guarding Course is a mandatory requirement SIA for who applying for security guarding licence. This is a classroom based training though in class. Level 2: Security Guard Course is required if you want to obtain the SIA Security Guarding Licence which allows you to work in the private security industry as a security officer.
To obtain this qualification linked to security guard licensing you will need to attend a 6 days training course and take and pass the exams. Chapter 3: Understand searching relevant to a door supervisor.
Chapter 4: Understand powers of arrest relevant to a door supervisor.
Chapter 5: Understand drug-misuse issues and procedures relevant to the role of a door supervisor.
Chapter 6: Understand incident recording and crime scene preservation relevant to the role of a door supervisor
Chapter 7: Understand licensing law and social responsibility relevant to the role of a door supervisor.
Chapter 8: Understand emergency procedures which should be followed by a door supervisor.
